Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean´s Sentences Commuted by President Bush

Decorated Border Patrol Agents Ignacio “Nacho” Ramos and Jose Compean had their sentences commuted today by President Bush on his last day in office.

The agents were convicted of the non-crime of using a firearm while on duty as they stopped a career drug dealer from smuggling 700 pounds of narcotics into the United States.

Morale at the Border Patrol suffers. The Clinton and Bush administrations have allowed two to three million illegal aliens to violate the borders per year, some with ties to foreign governments that harbor terrorism; and in so doing have allowed the unabated 0 billion annual trafficking in narcotics and humans.

 

There are now 22 million illegal aliens in the country and the number keeps growing.

Over 6000 drug trafficking murders took place along the border in 2008 and there were a number of incursions into U.S. territory by Mexican military and police personnel in uniform at the employ of the drug cartels. U.S. Border Patrol and National Guard have been ordered to stand down after been confronted by Mexican military personnel inside the United States. A number of border patrol agents have been injured on duty.

Agents Ramos and Compean were penalized for doing their jobs – protecting our borders.

Corruption fueled by the immense drug and human trafficking profits runs rampant on both sides of the U.S./Mexican border. Trust of elected officials and law enforcement evaporated long ago.

 

The Washington Times this week exposed a report from the United States Joint Forces Command, a multi-discipline intelligence agency responsible for global risk assessments.  The agency predicts that Mexico’s government may collapse at any moment from the corruption that has eroded every level of government.  The report was penned by Marine Gen. J.N. Mattis, the USJFC commander.

Ramos and Compean became collateral damage of powerful and influential forces within the Mexican and United States government.

I would like to thank all the patriotic Americans serving in the Congress, the Senate, State government, law enforcement, men and women and in the military and millions of citizens who flooded President Bush with over 5 million faxes and letters in these last few months.

My congratulations to the brave and patriotic agents Ramos and Compean and their families.

Here’s a quick video that we made that is designed to quell the idea that the infamous video currently circulating the net is actually showing the ocean floor ‘rising’ due to methane gas. The reality is that is little more than a confusion of point-of-view. The video camera used is clearly attached to the ROV (Remotely Operated underwater Vehicle) and the floor is not rising – it’s the ROV tilting up and down. It’s so obvious when you think about it. If it was the earth rising then the ROV would have risen too, or the the ROV arm would be buried by three feet of mud. Neither of those things happened. The ROV tilted on one or more of its axis to perform some perfunctory action. We have exaggerated it for the purposes of the video (and if you go back and look you’ll see how minor the move is), but that’s it. Nothing more. I’m all for full disclosure with regards to the utter disaster and mess that is the gulf and BP, but confusing and obfuscating and most importantly profiting from fear-mongering does NOT help anyone. It shields the real consequences of the spill and yields nothing productive. We should be angry about the events in the gulf, we should demand answers and solutions and we should ensure such spills never happen again. But we need to keep a level head and brandishing this very basic video as a portent of the end of the world helps no one but those with a devious agenda. Houston – an ideal location for any business or family

Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States and the largest city in the state of Texas. Founded in 1836, Houston has fast made a name for itself as a key industrial city for energy, aeronautics and transportation and has a vast population of about 2.2. million people.

By the mid 1800s Houston had established itself as a commercial and railroad hub for the export of cotton and this, along with the increased production of the local shipbuilding industry after World War II, caused the city to swell in size.

The city is now recognised world-wide for its energy industry in addition to its biomedical research and aeronautics. Houston now boasts 5 out of the 6 major energy companies – ConocoPhillips, Exxon-Mobil, Shell Oil, Chevron and BP. The area is also popular for building oilfield equipment thanks to the Port of Houston. The port is the 10th largest port in the world and ranks first in the United States for international commerce.

The devastation that the BP oil spill has caused the gulf is tremendous. Hundreds of thousands of wild life is effected each day. What a better way to show your appreciation for the environment than to have your very own BP blows t-shirts. The BP media coverage has been informing the nation that BP is not taking very fast actions in correcting this problem caused by BP. It has taken several months and finally they had managed on capping the oil leak, but the damage is already done. Thousands of barrels of oil had spilled into the ocean and are destroying our marine animals along with the wildlife. Birds, fish and other creatures are washing ashore dead because of the oil spill. By wearing your BP Blows t-shirts, you are rubbing it into Tony Hayward’s face on just how much we are upset with him.

Not only are hundreds of animals washing ashore, affected by the oil spill, but this oil spill is also affecting the local shrimpers, oyster men and fishing men by killing off their supply. These local fisherman are having a hard time trying to catch living and healthy enough marine life for us to purchase from them and enjoy. They are loosing business and money. These people now are struggling just to stay open, some people are being forced to sell their equipment and find new work. Some of these people have even been passing their business on for generations and now thanks to BP they have to sell it. So grab yourself a BP blows t-shirts. Show them how pissed you are.

Now more than ever our environment needs our help in cleaning up this tragedy. Large balls of oil are washing ashore and ruining the tourist areas that some people rely on to stay in business. So we need to get together and help clean this mess up because BP is not doing that great of job at it. I understand Canon’s minimalist design intentions, but I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is more viewfinder. The dioptric adjustment is located directly under this malnourished viewfinder, and the battery release button sits to its right. Having the controls on the LCD panel gives the LCD-craving point-and-shooter a bit of an advantage over the seasoned intermediate who wishes to conserve battery power and make use of the viewfinder.
