The efforts by BP are simply unsatisfactory. The amount of oil "attacking" our waters and ocean life is beyond human comprehension. Do something-think outside the box and put your political agenda aside!

OK if this was the Thames you guys would be sunk. Stop the dispersant spraying to poison our waters. Cap the well! Stop covering up with lies and stop trying to hied the facts! Fix your mistakes!

This should have never happened – Just like the Titanic – the precautionary measure met were just enough to pass some bureaucratic red tape and line some really deep pockets. I agree – just fix it already!

This could have been prevented but instead of caring for the environment, BP cared about saving their money …. let me see, the billions they get!!!

Okay you saved a few thousand dollars or so on short circuiting safety precautions to save money on installations but, you spilled how many barrels of oil a day? How much money was lost by the spill? How much environmental damage caused? How much business lost to local economics? How much lost on the stock market? How much lost!?! This planet is too good for stupid human greed. The world was better when Neanderthals were the majority on the planet.

Words cannot describe the atrocity that is the oilspill in the Gulf and the intentional mess that you've caused, BP. There is no amount of empty promises to make this right. Quit with the ad campaigns and get to work cleaning up the Gulf and make it right with the lives, both human and otherwise, that you've irreparably and forver damaged.

While I am grateful that in the early months of this year I enjoyed a few weeks of vacation on the Gulf, I am also brokenhearted that the beauty and bounty of this region has been forever changed by BP's thoughtless actions. BP, you must do EVERYTHING in your power to make this situation right. You owe it to the citizens of the Gulf, the animals, the land and the sea. Your debt is monstrous and evil.

Amous, you are exactly right. The hunger for profit is easily slaked, the hunger for social justice, not so readily resolved.

Shut up and fix it already…use your billions…whats the issue?

It's good that someone is finally caring about something other then themselves. People are complaining about global warming and such and the polar bears but the oil spill happens and no one cares about the sea life.

I wish I had a biting yet pithy comment to hurl at the corporate embodiment of hubris (BP), but I don't. Just get it right… Right now.

Please, no excuses… just fix what you broke… and no more use of toxic dispersant's. They will remain a problem long after the oil spill has been taken care of. That is, IF it gets taken care of.

Clean up the Gulf then spend your money researching alternate energy! Jerks.

How typical… that corporate interests and insatiable greed trump the things that truly matter on this planet; such as clean water & the living creatures that depend on it; and the people who's livelihood depend on the ecosystem in the gulf.
